Wakiso zone’s Kyadondo SS has continued with the impressive display at the on-going 2025 USSSA boys’ football championship in Ngora district.
A 1-0 hard-fought victory Kichwamba SS from Rubiriizi district spurred Hakim Ssenkumba’s coached side to the much desired victory at the round of 16 stage.
Moses Kalule was the hero for Kyadondo SS in the Sunday morning duel.
Kyadondo had eliminated Lake Side Masese 2-1 at the round of 32 having won all their group games.
Meanwhile, Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) advanced to the quarter finals at the expense of the reigning champions St Julian High School.
JIPRA convincingly beat St Julian High School 3-1 with Asuman Kayondo and Simon Achiidi (brace) the scorers.
James Ssekate scored the consolation for St Julian High School.
All the round of 16 matches will be completed on Sunday ahead of Monday’s quarter final duels.
