Rwanda Energy Group (REG) Volleyball Club has completed the signing of experienced coach Benon Bavuga Mugisha.
Mugisha is set to take over from Cameroonian coach Patrice Ndaki Mboulet as REG aims to enhance its performance.
He returns to the team he previously coached three years ago, where he led them to the 2019/20 title.
Having signed a two-year contract, Mugisha’s goal is to restore REG to its former glory.
His coaching expertise has been proven both locally and regionally, as he successfully guided Sport-S to two National Volleyball League titles.
At REG, Mugisha will work with fellow Ugandan player Gideon Nespal Angiro.
The club is also taking steps to strengthen its roster, recently signing Ntanteteri Crispin from Police as they prepare for the Genocide Memorial Tournament (GMT).
