The 2025 Caf Champions League final second leg is on this Sunday when Pyramids and Mamelodi Sundowns lock horns.

The fixture is evenly poised after the first leg ended in a 1-1 stalemate with Walid Elkarti notching a late equaliser to cancel out Ribeiro goal that had given the South African a deserved lead midway the second half.

Pyramids, aiming to become the fourth side from Egypt to lift the side have some experienced campaigners in the squad including Elkarti, winner with Wydad Casablanca in 2017 as well as Sherif Ekramy and Ramadan Sobhi who all won it with Al Ahly.

Meanwhile, Sundowns, winners in 2016 will hope to repeat the feat that saw them eliminate Al Ahly in front of their own fans in Cairo in the semi-finals.

Denis Onyango and Themba Zwane were part of the Brazilian squad that won the 2016 title, their only continental title in history and will be eager to lead the lads to a second one.

Teboho Mokoena, Ribeiro, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba and Grant Kekana are all seasoned campaigners who Sundowns will rely on for glory.
