Mengo City won a double; league and Uganda Cup. Park clinched the super cup.

The 2024-2025 futsal season in Uganda officially climaxed with the crowning ceremony of the league champions Mengo City and the super cup winners, Park at the Old Kampala sports arena on Thursday, 5th June 2025.

Locker Room Bonus (LRB) fueling competitive sport

Throughout the season, each winning team has been receiving UGX 1,235,000 per match.

This has been shared among 13 members (10 players and 3 technical staff).

The total locker room bonus for the season UGX 232,180,00, directly incentivizing performance among the players and teams alike.

Award Bonuses: Celebrating Excellence

 This year’s Futsal award ceremony witnessed awards for individual performers getting UGX 500,000 each for best goalkeeper, golden boot, best defender, best midfielder, young player and best coach.

The winning team (Mengo city) was rewarded with UGX 2.5M as Super League champions.

Mengo City also won UGX 2M for the Uganda Cup whilst Park earned UGX 1M for Super Cup.

Addressing the media moments after the final, betPawa East Africa Regional Manager Ivy Nyonyozi Igunduura hailed the Locker room bonus model.

The thrilling super cup finale witnessed Park edge Mengo 7-6 in a match that left fans off the edge of their seats.

Joshua Aziku struck a first half hat-trick for Park. The other goals came from Abasi Muluya (brace), Shafik Mulangira and Michael Abura,

Abdulkarim Tebera (2), John Musasizi, skipper Anthony Male and goalkeeper Stuart Kafuluma (2) responded for Mengo city to give the fans a worthwhile final.

Park earned Ug.Shs 1,000,000 and Locker Room Bonus, highlighting betPawa’s commitment to on-field success.
