Three former Uganda Premier League clubs Arua Hill, Busoga United and MYDA have been further demoted from the FUFA Big League to the third tier (regional league).

Despite winning 10-0 on the road away to another relegated Booma on the final day at Masindi Stadium, Arua Hill still did not survive.

Allan Kabonge’s coached side completed the season with 32 points, the same as MYDA, another former top flight side.

MYDA also fell 0-1 away to Kigezi Home Boyz in Kabale.

Joseph Sseremba scored the all important goal that save Kigezi Home Boyz as they completed the season on 33 points.

Another top flight division side, Busoga United lost 0-2 away to Blacks Power in Lira.

Nigerian born player Innocent Maduka scored a brace for Blacks Power.

Yumbe based Calvary Football Club lifted the trophy following a 1-0 victory over Paidha Black Angels in the West Nile derby.

Calvary edged Paidha Black Angels 1-0 in a rain disrupted match at the Midigo primary school in Yumbe.

The victory meant Calvary finished with 52 points.

In Mbale city, Gaddafi defeated Kataka 3-0 on a wet surface after a heavy down pour moments before kick-off.

 Congolese import Jonathan Mbula, captain Thomas Kakaire and Frank Kalanda were on target for Gaddafi who finish the season with 50 points.

At the Barthlem playground in Kiwenda, Kiyinda Boys shared the spoils in a goal-less duel with Buhimba United Saints who also ended the season on 50 points.

Kaaro Karungi won 6-3 over Ntugasaze in a 9 goal thriller at the Kyamate playground in Ntugamo.

Calvary will be crowned on Sunday, 22nd June 2025 in Yumbe.
