Uganda Premier League side KCCA has officially announced the signing of Ivan Ahimbisibwe, making him their first acquisition of the transfer window.
“Our first signing is locked in,” KCCA confirmed the signing of Ahimbisibwe on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, through the club’s official social media platforms.
“Hello Citizens! My name is Ivan Ahimbisibwe, the Hunter, and I can’t wait to get started,” he expressed confidently.
After parting ways with Shaban Muhammad, KCCA has been on the lookout for a prolific striker, and Ahimbisibwe is set to take on that role.
During the recent UPL campaign, Ahimbisibwe scored 16 goals, finishing just three goals behind the eventual golden boot winner, Allan Okello.
Ahimbisibwe began his career at Synergy before moving to Nyamityobora, where he spent a significant amount of time.
He later transferred to UPDF and then signed a lucrative deal with URA.
He will now reunite with coach Brian Ssenyondo, with whom he previously worked at Synergy and UPDF.
