As the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) kickoff edges closer several nations are intensifying their preparations in order to perform well.

For the co-hosts Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania, the demands are even more both on and off the pitch to pull off a successful Championship.

The latest development is that the aforementioned nations alongside South Sudan will face off in a CECAFA Four Nations pre-CHAN tournament.

Tanzania will host the games at the Karatu Stadium in Arusha and will take on Kenya while Uganda will face South Sudan, both games coming on 24th July.

The winners will then face on 27th July with the losers of the above games also playing against each other.

Uganda has been in non-residential camp for over ten days while Kenya and Tanzania summoned their teams recently.

CHAN 2024 will kickoff on 2nd August and run up to 30th of the same month.
