Netball: The last four standing schools at 2025 USSSA Ball Games 2 in Tororo

2025 USSSA Ball Games 2 (Netball):

Quarter finals Results:

• St Mary’s Kitende 33-20 St Josephine Bakhita
• Namagabi S.S 21-27 Hamdan Islamic
• Madina Islamic 21-29 St Noa Girls Zana
• Green Light Islamic 20-24 Buddo Secondary School

St Mary’s Kitende, Hamdan Islamic Secondary School, St Noa Girls Zana and Buddo Secondary School have all qualified for semi-finals of the on-going 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games 2 in Netball.

This followed successful completion of the quarterfinals on Wednesday at Tororo Girls Secondary School main playgrounds.

Reigning champions St Mary’s Kitende from Wakiso district overcame St Josephine Bakhita 33-20.

Namagabi S.S, conquerors of Kawanda S.S at the round of 16 on Tuesday lost 21-27 to Hamdan Islamic School.

Another Wakiso district based school, St Noa Girls Zana out-muscled Madina Islamic 29-21.

The third Wakiso district school Buddo SS defeated Green Light Islamic 24-20 in the other quarter final.

Semi-final matchup:

The semi-finals will be played Thursday, 17^th July 2025 with St Mary’s Kitende taking on Hamdan Islamic School whilst St Noa Girls Zana will tussle it against Buddo Secondary School.

That said, there is an assured slot for a Wakiso district school in the finals.

The four semi-finalists are assured of slots at the forthcoming FEASSA Games in Kakamega city, Kenya.

Meanwhile, the rest of the classification matches will continue to be played at the various courts to determine the respective positions.

Besides Netball, the USSSA Ball Games 2 menu also has Volleyball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, football (U-15 and U-16), Lacrosse, athletics, cross-country, ludo, chess, scrabble, futsal, baseball & softball.

These games climax on Friday, 18th July 2025.
