The 2025 Uganda Inter-Schools Golf Championship was organized with the support of KCB Bank, Blue Phoenix sports limited, Stawisha & Golf –Health and Wealth, Duara Green Nurseries, Green Ielevate Africa and Lake Victoria Golf Resort & Spa, among others.

The fourth edition of the Uganda Inter-Schools Golf Championship was successfully held at the par-72 Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa facility in Kigo, Wakiso district.
Over 150 youngsters from 13 education institutions engaged in the day-long event across the various age clusters.
Kings College Budo emerged as the overall winner, with Taibah International School taking silver and St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) for bronze.

“Kings College Budo was the overall victor, thanks to the good preparations we had with team training. We also used the teamwork elements” Kyle Mugabi, team captain hinted.
The other participating schools included; Tamaris Christian International School, The North Green School, Trinity College Nabbingo, St Joseph’s Girls SSS Nsambya, Immaculate Heart Nyakibale Girls School, Jinja College, Kabojja International School, Parvatiben Mulijbhai Madhvani Girls School (PMMGS), Rainbow International School and Elite High School.

Individuals:
Miracle Abisha Namanya and Jenny Arianna Tumwesigye were the overall male and female individual winners respectively.
Tumwesigye also won the girls 10 and under category.
Boys 10 & Under:
Kenan Tayebwa triumphed in the boys 10 and under category with Hans Ithiel Tayebwa coming second as Luke Karlton Tayebwa finished third.

Girls 11-14 years:
Patricia Mbeiza toppled the rest in the girls 11-14 years pool, ahead of Lourdes Maria and Desire Mutesi Nabirye.
Girls 15-18 years:
Nichole Martinez Nahabwe performed best in the girls 15-18 years group; with Zhenzhen Li playing second fiddle.

Boys 11-14:
Miracle Abisha Namanya won the 11-14 years category with Joshua Atwine taking second place.
Boys 15-18:
For the boys 15-18 years,Mathew Katooro was outstanding ahead of Jeremiah Magembe.
Event organizer Les Brown lauded the effort of the different schools that organized teams, the players, coaches, sponsors and other partners that joined hands to have a successful championship.
“We are humbled for a successful fourth edition of the Uganda Inter-Schools Golf Championship hosted at Lake Victoria Serena Golf resort and spa. We thank the schools, players, coaches, sponsors as KCB Bank and the other partners for the collective effort” Brown hinted.

“We thank the schools for participating. As Stawisha and Golf, Health and Wealth, we are tailor-made to organize the best sports events with a professional touch. We remain committed to more successful championships in the subsequent years” Ernest Kiggundu, country director remarked.

The event is an annual championship bringing together the youth from the different schools who play the game of golf.
More and more schools are being sought by the organizing team to join.
