Kawempe Muslim secured a well-deserved 2-0 victory against She Corporate in the FUFA Women’s Super League at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Latifah Nakasi scored both goals as Ayub Khalifa’s charges secured maximum points on the road against She Corporates that came into the game unbeaten.
Kawempe Muslim came out of their blocks early thus getting an opener through Nakasi under a minute. The hosts’ lack of organisation cost them in that particular situation.
Nakasi doubled the visitors’ lead in the 18th minute to complete a brace that proved to be the difference in the game.
The great start gave Kawempe the much-needed lead setting the tone of the proceedings in favour of the visitors who forced She Corporate on the back foot.
Despite the regrouping and strong fight from the hosts, Kawempe Muslim ran away with maximum points on the day.
