- Grande Stade Tangier, Tangier 8pm
Uganda Cranes completes the international break with a final match against hosts Morocco at the Stade Tangier on Tuesday.
Paul Put’s men beat Chad 2-1 in the first trial match last week and the game against the Atlas Lions is a perfect test ahead of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations.
“In the game against Chad, we didn’t perform to our best but the most important thing is we won,” said Put.
“Morocco is another test and it will give us a good challenge,” he added.
The Cranes are without key players in Aziz Kayondo, Jamal Salim, Rogers Mato and Elio Capradossi and this is another opportunity for those available to impress the Belgian and his staff.
Changes are expected to the team that started against Chad with skipper Khalid Aucho, Kenneth Ssemakula, veteran Denis Onyango and Steven Mukwala all expected to start.
Morocco beat Mozambique 1-0 in their first game of the international window.
They are also without two key players in Achraf Hakimi and Nayef Aguerd who are injured.
