Calvary FC celebrated their promotion to the Uganda Premier League a few months ago but their journey so far has not been flossy at all.
The Yumbe-based outfit have struggled on the pitch, losing five of the six games played so far, the latest coming on Wednesday against UPDF FC.
The Army side were able to snatch a 1-0 win in the game played at Midigo Primary School Playground courtesy of Emmanuel Ochen’s goal.
Before the international break, Calvary had parted ways with head coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera who only joined them before the start of the season.
He has since joined Express FC, replacing Badru Kaddu who crossed over to NEC FC.
The fixture did not as well help for the new comers, with their opening four games played away. However, even the two homes games played so far against Entebbe UPPC FC and UPDF FC have ended in disappointment.
The bad spell leaves the team rooted to the base of the table with a single point registered.
