Juma Miyaji has joined the Gulf Giants for season 4 of the DP ILT20 Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

The Cricket Cranes fast bowler will spend a month with the Gulf Giants as part of an exchange program between the ILT20 Cup and Africa.

The opportunity was created through a collaboration the ILT20 organizers struck with African Cricket to give more exposure to African talent. Miyaji will not be lonely because seven other players from Rwanda, Botswana, Kenya, Sierra Leone and Nigeria will also be with other franchise teams.

Miyaji will share a dressing room with the likes of World Cup winner and former England all rounder Moen Ali, Namibian Eagles Captain Gerhard Erasmus, Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani, and West Indies batter Kyle Mayers.

The experience should help Miyaji develop his skills as an all rounder in a franchise environment. He will spend a month with the Gulf Giants learning from the best in the World and if he can impress, this chance will open doors for other players in future.

Miyaji has risen to be a core player for the Cricket Cranes and got an opportunity to lead the Cricket Cranes during the Pearl of Africa Series this year.
