The matchday nine Uganda Premier League clash between Express and Calvary has been postponed.
The development was made public through a statement shared on Monday, December 1, 2025.
The game has been postponed after the hosts, Express, informed the UPL secretariat about the unavailability of Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
“We are in receipt of correspondence from Express FC regarding the temporary unavailability of Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo,” the statement partly reads.
The ground is unavailable due to urgent and critical maintenance works scheduled to commence on Tuesday, December 2, and will run for two days.
According to the document, a new date will be communicated by the secretariat in due course as the league unfolds.
Express lies 12th on the log with nine points after eight games, while Calvary lies at the bottom of the log with one point after playing seven games.
