Felix Kawooya Ssekabuuza guided St Julian High School for their maiden national championship of Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Associations (USSSA) boys football in 2024 when they defeated Amus College School 3-0 in the final played in Masaka. recently led Buweekula Ssaza to their first ever Buganda Masaza Cup trophy when they defeated Ssingo Ssaza 1-0 in the finals played at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo.
In preparation for the 2026 footballing season in schools’ football, St Mark High School Kayunga announced the appointment of Felix Kawooya Ssekabuuza as their head coach for a two year tenure.
Ssekabuuza’s appointment underscores the institution’s commitment to excellence in the sport and determination to provide student-athletes with the highest level of coaching and guidance.

The CAF B license holder brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role having distinguished himself as an accomplished coach with a proven track record of success in his field.

For the last three years, St Mark High School Kayunga has qualified to Mukono zone but failed to qualify to Nationals.
This will therefore be Ssekabuuza immediate target will be to guide the institution to an historical national showpiece.

Last year, St Mark High School lost in the quarter finals of Mukono zone to Mehta Secondary School by 1-0.
The 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Associations U20 Boys Football will be hosted by Lira Town School next May.
