KCB Bank Uganda officially unveils rally driver Oscar Ntambi’s newly upgraded Mitsubishi Evo 10 during the launch of the 2025 Champion’s Sprint Rally in Busika, ahead of the Boxing Day event.

The Champion’s Sprint Rally remains one of FMU’s flagship events, designed to promote competitive motorsport, strengthen safety standards and provide a platform for both established and emerging drivers across the country.

KCB Bank Uganda, in close partnership with Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda officially launched the Champion’s Sprint Rally at Busika.

The launch brought together FMU leaders, rally teams, partners, motorsport fans ahead of the main event scheduled for 26 December.

During the event, KCB Bank, one of the key sponsors of this year’s rally also unveiled driver Oscar Ntambi’s newly upgraded Mitsubishi Evo 10, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to elevating Uganda’s motorsport industry and supporting local athletes.

Ntambi’s upgrade marks a significant step in his competitive growth, offering enhanced power, speed and performance.

The bank further noted that motorsport continues to unite communities across Uganda, attracting young people, families and seasoned fans who share a passion for speed, skill and competition.

The Champion’s Sprint Rally remains one of FMU’s flagship events, designed to promote competitive motorsport, strengthen safety standards and provide a platform for both established and emerging drivers across the country.

Over the years, FMU has played a central role in organizing, regulating and growing motorsport in Uganda, working closely with clubs, sponsors like KCB Bank and partners to professionalize the sport.

A representative at FMU highlighted, “As the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda, our role is to create structured, safe and competitive platforms that allow motorsport to thrive. Events like the Champion’s Sprint Rally are important in developing talent, strengthening the motorsport ecosystem and giving fans consistent, high-quality racing experiences across the country.”
