Mali and Zambia shared the spoils one-all during Group A of the AFCON 2025 at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca on Monday afternoon.
Following a goal-less stalemate in the opening half, Lassine Sinayoko gave Mali the lead on 72 minutes.
Patson Daka salvaged a point for Zambia at the death with a pin-point header.
Zambia returns to action on 26th December 2025 against Comoros at the Mohammed V Stadium in the early kick off.
On the same day, hosts Morocco will face Mali at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Morocco leads the group with three points. Mali and Zambia have a point apiece whilst Comoros is bottom placed with zero point.
