Overview:
For the generous act of shielding an escort boy from the heavy down pour, Uganda Cranes skipper Khalid Aucho has been hailed by many spectators across the divide.
Small acts of kindness are harboured inside the innermost ventricles of the human heart.
Such acts are often amplified through words and deeds.
Before the kick-off for the Tunisia – Uganda Cranes games at the Stade Olympique De Rabat in Morocco, a few noticed the kind gesture from Uganda’s captain Khalid Aucho as he walked from the dressing rooms.
The two teams majestically marched to the extremely wet field of play, Aucho firmly held one of the escort boys by the hand as he covered the little boy’s head with the ceremonial hand-over flag.

He continued to cover the little boy to shield him from the dropping heavy rains. What a gesture!
“It was just a fatherhood moment,” Aucho, who features at Singida United in the Tanzania Premier League, remarked after the humbling 3-1 loss to Tunisia.
For that generous act, Aucho has been hailed by many spectators across the divide.
“It is respect and a symbol of safeguarding,” a founder member of Uganda Lacrosse commented.

Richard Bwowe added in the affirmative, “Uganda won the hearts. I believe this is the aim of the tournament.”
“One wise person learns from others’ past. He is a smart sporter!! Go, go,” France Wanyonyi stated.
Others with positive comments included Joram Tumusiime (He’s a good-hearted person) and Dani Daniels (Example of good leadership), among others.
Aucho played full-time in the defeat to Tunisia and quickly picked up the positives coming to the Tanzania clash this Saturday.
“It is a derby duel between Uganda and Tanzania but we shall give our best,” Aucho spoke of the upcoming group C duel at the Al Madina stadium in Rabat city (8:30 PM, East African Time).
Tunisia currently leads Group C with three points (2 goals difference), Nigeria, which beat Tanzania 2-1 on Tuesday, is second, Tanzania is third, and Uganda is in bottom place.
