AFCON 2025 (Group C):

- Uganda 1-1 Tanzania
Nigeria qualified for the Round of 16 at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Super Eagles humbled Tunisia 3-2 in a Group C duel played at Fez Stadium.
Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi and Ademola Lookman scored the goals for Nigeria.

Montassar Taibi and Ali Al-Abdi (penalty) replied for Tunisia.
Nigeria took the halftime lead with Osimhen’s goal on the stroke of the opening stanza.
Ndidi added the second six minutes later. Lookman made it three on 67 minutes.
Tunisia pulled back a goal through Montassar in the 74th minute and Abdi struck home a penalty with three minutes to play.
Nigeria recorded their second win at the championship afterthe earlier 2-1 win over Tanzania.
The Super Eagles now have six points from two matches and have qualified for the Round of 16, joining Egypt.
Tunisia remains on three points.
Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes played to a one-all draw with neighbours Tanzania.
Uganda faces Nigeria in Fes city on 30th December 2025. On the same day, Tanzania will face Nigeria.
