World-over, football fans are a key component in contemporary times during competitive duels.
Basically, the fans cheer up their respective teams with wild chanting, drumming, shouting, singing, dancing, trumpet blowing and whistling, among other activities.
They encourage their teams in play and often discourage the oppositions with chorus boos.

Fans are a great deal in many football contests and their impact has created conducive confines for their players.
This is the exact situation at the intimidating 69,500-seater Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat city at the on-going AFCON 2025 championship especially when the hosts Morocco are in action.
Morocco head coach Walid Regragui boldly acknowledges the relevance of fans in the perspective of pushing and rallying his team via-a-vis pulling down the opponents.

“The fans have it made good for us. This stadium (Prince Moulay Abdellah) is difficult for every opponents. It is very difficult to win against Morocco with the fans rallying us” the former Morocco right back who earned 44 international caps told the media during the official pre-match press conference at the main media center in Rabat.
Regragui hinted the key achievements that he has achieved with the team with a semi-final finish in the FIFA World Cup and now the AFCON, but asserted every result comes with criticism.
“In football, especially Morocco, every result, you have a critique. But personally, I stay focused with my players and we concentrate and this is what is important.” Regragui who was flanked by substitute goalkeeper Monir El Kajoui spoke to the fully packed room of journalists.

“We have had only four defeats in two years with a semi-final finish in the FIFA World Cup and now playing semi-finals at AFCON 2025 at home. In Morocco, you work a lot. I hope the next coach after me will replicate my work. In football, every coach you need to prepare for exit. But this is not in my mindset. I am not afraid about this (leaving the job)” he added with emotion.
