  • Afternoon: Karuma Rapids 165/4 beat Bujjagali Rafters 87/7 by 78 runs

The Karuma Rapids remained in the hunt for a place in the final tomorrow after a commanding win against the Bujjagali Rafters.

With the threat of rain looming, the Karuma Rapids rushed through their first five overs that would ensure the result, but they had to deal with the counter punch from Malisa Ariokot (37). However, they had enough to pick up a big win against second-placed Bujjagali Rafters.

It was the second win for the Karuma Rapids, which keeps them in with a chance to sneak into the finals on Sunday afternoon.

If the Karuma Rapids can pick up another win tomorrow afternoon against the Itanda Kayakers, they have a chance of sneaking into the finals.

In the morning, the Itanda Kayakers ran over the Bujjagali Rafters to win by eight wickets in a one-sided encounter. Bujjagali Rafters lost both games on a double-header day and knocked off the patch by the Itanda Kayakers, both teams on the same number of points but only separated by Net Run Rate.
