BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye has warned his side against complacency as the Jinja-based side prepare for a grueling Uganda Cup against Agape United Kotido FC on Thursday.
Coming off a morale boosting 1-0 victory over UPDF FC in the Uganda Premier League, BUL face a daunting trek to Kotido against a regional outfit.
While BUL enters the tie as the heavy favourites, Isabirye admits that playing in Kotido presents a unique set of challenges that could level the playing ground.
Speaking ahead of the game, Isabirye revealed that his technical team has struggled to scout the regional side.
“We are playing a team which we really don’t have any idea about. We have tried to see atleast 20% of how they behave but we are still struggling. The game won’t be easy and its always difficult to play such games,” he said.
Despite the lack of intel, the coach reminded firm on the objective: “The boys know exactly what we want. We need to go through, so we are going to do whatever it takes to see that we win the game.”
BUL head into the game without Nicholas Mwere and Jerome Kirya however Isabirye is confident that he has available options to handle the assignment.
