2026 Kabalaza Golf Open Championship

The annual Kabalaza Golf Open championship swings off with the opening round on Thursday, 5th February 2026 at the lake side Entebbe Club.

At least 92 golfers will be in action during the first round with the country’s professionals and top gross players taking to the fairways.

The first game at 8:30 AM involved Herman Mutaawe and Nasser Mackie.

This was followed by Saidi Mawa, Denis Anguyo and Bulhan Matovu at 8:40 AM.

Ten minutes later, Davis Kato, Phillip Kasozi and Ashraf Bagalana swing, among others.

Two female professionals Irene Nakalembe and Eva Magala are also in action.

Top male and female gross players will also be in action on the day with the latest tee-off expected at 1:30 PM.

Friday will be a moving day for the professionals and top gross players before the final grand round on Saturday where the rest of the golfers will also join.

There will be a colourful prize giving ceremony on Saturday evening as the different top performers per category are rewarded accordingly.

The Kabalaza open championship is organized by Entebbe Club with the support of different partners as Uganda Golf Union, Aquafina, Upscale, Street Club, MTN Uganda, Johnnie Walker, NuMax Cinemas, Emraa, Petro and 7 Hotels, among others.
