Amus College School Football Club booked their berth at the Round of 32 in the 2026 Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Lucky Wanyama and Mudashir Ijosiga scored in either half for the Eastern Regional League club as they eliminated a FUFA Big League entity, Kiyinda Boys, 2-0 on Sunday, 8th February 2026.

Wanyama looped the ball over the goalkeeper in the 9th minute for the opener.

Lethal forward Ijosiga showed the typical goal poacher’s instincts with the right positional sense for the second goal.

Ijosiga slammed the ball home from close range for the second goal deep in added time to wrap the victory.

Amus College School thus secured their berth at the Round of 32 stage.

Meanwhile, Onduparaka out-smarted Western Regional League side Kabale City 3-1 at the Kabale Municipal stadium.

Jimmy Pirio, Jonathan Mungufeni and Michael Kedi scored for the Catarpillars, who travelled over 720KM from Aruawith only 11 players.

Abton Niwamanya netted the consolation for Kabale City.

In the other contests played, Iganga United smiled past Bwizibwera 2-1.

Blacks Power edged Bumate United 2-1 whilst Happy Boys won 3-1 in post-match penalties over Kagaba Young Elephants Academy after a 1-all draw.

Another FUFA Big League side, CATDA, was eliminated by Kumi United in post-match penalties 3-4 after a 1-all draw in normal time.

Ntugasaze lost 2-3 in post-match penalties to Kuluva Rainbow following yet another 1-all draw in normal time.

Red Devo eliminated Nebbi Central 5-4 in post-match penalties with normal time ending goalless.

The Round of 64 level continues on Monday, 9th February 2026, with Football Classroom taking on Calvary at Hamz Stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds).

On Tuesday, Garuga Stars will host FUFA Big League side Kataka at the Cherish Playground in Garuga, Katabi Town Council in Wakiso District.
