Mbarara City host fellow strugglers Calvary in a relegation six pointer as the second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League kicks off.
The two sides are in the bottom three with the Ankole Lions on 12 points in 14th place, eight points better than Calvary who sit at the base of the standings with no win in the premiership.
The hosts’ camp was hit with a crisis towards the end of the first round that culminated into suspending four senior players but holding Maroons away and qualifying to the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup bolsters their confidence.
On the other hand, Calvary were eliminated by non-league side Football Classroom in the Uganda Cup and despite playing to a 1-1 draw in the first-round clash against Mbarara City, they will be the under dogs here.
Elsewhere, Police host Lugazi at Police Arena in Kamwokya while Kitara travel to Maroons in Luzira.
