Wydad Casablanca celebrate triumph in the CAF CL Credit: CAF

Moroccan sides Olympique de Safi and Wydad Casablanca have been paired together in the quarter finals of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2025/26 following the draw held in Cairo on Tuesday.

Olympique de Safi will host the first leg of the clash which will ensure there is a Moroccan representative in the semi-finals.

Egyptian giants Zamalek SC will begin away from home against AS Otoho of Congo in the first leg of their Quarter-final with another Egyptian outfit, Al Masry hosting Algeria’s CR Belouizdad, while AS Maniema Union of the Democratic Republic of Congo will also welcome Algerian opposition in the first leg as they take on USM Alger.

The quarter-final matches will be played on 15 March (first leg) and 22 March (second leg).

The draw also mapped out the semi-final bracket, with the winner of AS Maniema Union vs USM Alger set to be at home in the first leg against the winner of Olympique de Safi vs Wydad Casablanca in the first Semi-final.

In the other Semi-final, the winner of Al Masry vs CR Belouizdad will host in the first leg against the winner of AS Otoho vs Zamalek SC.

The semi-finals are scheduled for 12 April (first leg) and 19 April (second leg).

The final will be played over two legs on May 9th and 16th 2026.
