Rezlife Saints continue with a perfect run in the 2026 National Basketball League.
Rezlife Saints secured a well-deserved 75-59 victory against Victoria Crocs in the 2026 National Basketball League encounter in Lubowa on Wednesday.
In the double-digit column, Saints captain, Micheal Otieno scored a game-high 19 points and youngster Edrine Ekau joined him with 13 points. Cleaning the glasses was Suka Fadul who pulled down 17 rebounds.
On the other hand, Mark Ngobi (14 points) and Chuol Nyout (13 points) scored double digits for Victoria Crocs.
Coming into this encounter, Rezlife Saints had secured two convincing wins against KCCA Panthers and UPDF Tomahawks. However the victory against Victoria Crocs was special because it was one secured in front of the home crowd.
Micheal Otieno got the game underway with a driving layup before Rin Mabor made it a 4-0 run for the Saints but Chuol Nyout responded with a 3-point jumpshot for the Crocs. At the end of the opening stanza, the Crocs trailed by seven points.
In the second stanza, the Crocs slightly outscored the Saints 22-20 to reduce the deficit to five points (39-34) going into the halftime break.
Coming from the long break, the Crocs were limited to only 10 points while the deficit stretched again to eleven (11) points.
The hosts kept the foot on the gas pedal to take home a commanding victory of 16 points on the day.
