Uganda Cranes captain Khalid Aucho has reacted to the suspension handed to him by his Tanzanian club Singida Black Stars.

In a club statement released on Friday February 27, 2026, Aucho is accused of misconduct and absenteeism from duty.

However, Aucho who has also featured for Young Africans in Tanzania as well has responded by claiming he has always been a professional.

“I have always carried myself with professionalism throughout my career, representing every club with respect and discipline,” Aucho partly wrote in a statement on his social media outlets.

“In all my years in football, I have never been involved in any case of indiscipline because I understand the responsibility that comes with being a professional player.

“To my beloved fans who have always stood by me, this situation will come to pass. Thank you for your continued support.”
