KCCA can’t afford to drop points when they visit Buhimba United Saints at Royal Park, Butema on Monday.

The Kasasiro go into the game confident after edging BUL and then Mbarara City in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, two wins on the bounce after failing to win in three games before.

Five points behind leaders Vipers, the 13-time champions will trim the gap to just two points with a victory.

They laboured to a 1-0 win in the first-round clash at MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo and expect even tougher game on the road according to co-head coach Jackson Nelly Magera.

“In the reverse fixture, we struggled to break them down and we don’t expect it an easier again,” said Magera. “But maybe, playing in their own backyard will prompt change of tactics as they also want to get points,” he added.

“The first 10-15 minutes will determine our approach but the goal is to go there and win with a good performance,” he emphasized.

Buhimba who will miss coach Robert Mukasa on the touchline after he was red carded in the last game are 14th on the log with 15 points, only three ahead of safety.

Both teams are likely to unleash their new signings with the hosts lining up Musa Ssali and Bageya while the Kasasiro have striker Muserero in their ranks.

On the same day, record champions SC Villa also make a long trip to Yumbe where bottom placed Calvary is lurking.
