BUL lock horns with bogey side Mbarara City at the Fufa Technical Centre in Njeru, desperate to end a four-year wait for their first win against the Ankole Lions.

Alex Isabirye’s men have not won against Mbarara City since 2021, when they won 1-0 through Ibrahim Nsimbe’s lone strike.

Since then, the two teams have met six times, with Mbarara City beating BUL 2-0 in 2024 through Seiri Arigumaho’s double.

The forward is now at BUL and will be facing former immediate paymasters and, alongside Karim Ndugwa, Jerome Kiirya and co., will look for goals for the hosts.

BUL are 8th on the log with 29 points while Mbarara City are languishing in relegation with 13 points.

The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw with Ian Amanya cancelling out Arigumaho’s goal for BUL.

Elsewhere, Kitara and Buhimba United Saints face off at the new Hoima City stadium, while NEC visit Police at Kira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya.
