Ndejje University made it to the quarter finals of the 2025/26 Pepsi University Football League (UFL) after a 2-1 home victory over Makerere University in Group E on Thursday, 19th March 2026.
Joel Olupot and Clement Ebasu scored for Ndejje University during the well contested duel at the University Sports Arena in Luweero.
Male Musa’s earlier equalizer for Makerere University turned out to be a mere consolation.

Olupot gave the hosts the first half lead in the 37th minute. Seven minutes into restart for the final stanza, Makerere University restarted parity through Male’s strike.
Ebasu had the final say in the game with 19 minutes to play as Ndejje University grabbed the match winner.

Meanwhile, in the same group, Kumi University overcame visiting King Ceasor University 1-0 to progress to the quarter-finals.
Ndejje University march to the quarter finals alongside YMCA, Uganda Martyr’s University, Kampala University (KU), Muteesa 1 Royal University, Bugema University, St Lawrence University and Kumi University.
