Evelyn Nakiyngi was on top of her game as the JKL Lady Dolphins thumped Victoria She Crocs.
JKL Lady Dolphins secured a well-deserved 80-53 victory against Victoria She Crocs in the NBL encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Sunday.
Nakiyingi led the Lady Dolphins’ scoring chart, dropping 22 points and pulling down 19 rebounds in a brilliant double-double.
Tamasha Nsubuga (20 points) and Ritah Imanishimwe (19 points) joined Nakiyingi in the column of double figures.
On the other hand, Francine Tshimanga dropped 15 points for the Victoria She Crocs, who struggled on the day.
The Lady Dolphins came out of their blocks early as Imanishimwe was successful thrice from downtown as they triumphed (25-13).
The She Crocs were limited to only nine points as they trailed by 19 points going into the halftime break.
Coming from the locker rooms, the She Crocs were the better side, triumphing 19-12 as they reduced the deficit to only 12 points.
In the final quarter, it was a one-way encounter as the Lady Dolphins sailed to a 27-point victory on the day.
