Overview:
Before he left Uganda for the USA, Ssebulime had skippered Buddu Buganda Masaza Cup glory, played for the Uganda U-23 side and his exploits had lured KCCA FC to sign him.
When midfielder Pius Ssebulime, 21, left Uganda for the United States of America (USA), he initially joined Gardner-Webb University Football Club, where he was among the top 100 players of the season.
He virtually featured in every game at Gardner-Webb University and largely impressed with his consistency via game reading, ball control, tackling, endurance, communication, space coverage and ball passing antics.


In the 18 games featured at Gardner-Webb University, Ssebulime had a combined total of 1620 minutes with 12 chances created, 2 crucial assists, 80% successful dribbles, 85% passing accuracy both from long and chipped balls, 81% tackles, a couple of aerial duels won and awesome recoveries.
After a brief spell, the Central Defensive Midfielder (CDM) joined Rutgers University for education, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Sports Management.

Subsequently, Ssebulime was also signed by Annapolis Blues Football Club, which features in the USL League Two Division.
Annapolis Blues Football Club also has other players from Rutgers University, including Jack Andrus (Defender), Timo Jansen (Midfielder), and Dan Karsten (Forward).

He remains an unpolished diamond ready for Uganda Cranes (National Team) service at Regional (CECAFA), continental (CAF) and global (FIFA) competitions.
