It is Round Two for the Elite Gross golfers at the 2026 Pearl of Africa (POA) Golf Series (Entebbe Leg) on Thursday, 2nd April.
This follows a successful opening 18-hole action on Wednesday, where Joseph Cwinya-ai scored 3-under-68 to lead the rest of the pack.
The earliest match tees off at 8:30 AM with two players: Bruce Aijuka and Peace Hellen. These will be followed by the duo of Isaac Sekulima and Harriet Kitaka at 8:40 AM.
8:50 AM has Brian Manyindo, Banza Matsiko and Pius Omara, followed by Joseph Bagabo, Edwin Baguma and Michael Kijjambu.
Leader Cwinya-ai drives off the second round at 11:10 AM alongside Elton Thembo and Martha Babirye in the main pressure pool for the elite gross.

They follow the trio of Andrew Ssekibejja, Dominic Musoke and Abdallah Kakooza who tee off at 11:00 AM in the second pressure group.
The third pressure group has Bright Mukama, Shaka Kariisa and Joseph Kasozi; these will commence action at 10:50 AM.
Two biological brothers, Mackinon Masereka and Godfrey Kambale, play at 10:40 AM alongside the seasoned Ibrahim Bagalana.



These elite gross players are playing for a total kitty of Ugx 5,000,000.
On Thursday, the professional golfers will also swing into action for their round one.
The professional golfers’ total prize money kitty is Ugx 27,000,000.
The POA Series are designed to elevate the professional golf ecosystem in Uganda to international standards.
After Entebbe, the POA Golf Series will be staged at the Lugazi Hills and Country Club (June 24th to 27th) before climaxing in Kampala at Uganda Golf Club (July 15th to 18th).
