Pearl Of Africa (POA) Golf Series 2026 – Entebbe Leg

There is virtually no room created for error as the professional golfers swing into action for their opening round of the 2026 Pearl of Africa Golf Series (Entebbe Leg) on Thursday, 2nd April.

With a total pool of Ugx 27,000,000 to fight for, every swing, chip, putt and decision will definitely matter a great deal.

Twenty-six pros, including two formidable ladies, Evah Magala and Flavia Namakula, are in action for round one.

Saidi Mawa, Phillip Kasozi and Evah Magala commence action at 11:20 AM.

Ten minutes later, they will be followed by David Kamulindwa, Abbey Bagalana and Peter Ssendaula.

Emma Ogwang, Rodell Tadeo Gaita and the Aviator Africa / Numax Cinemas sponsored Herman Deco Mutebi, drive off at 11:40 AM.

11:50 AM has Henry Lujja, Ronald Rugumayo and Hussein Bagalana.

At noon, it will be the trio of Vincent Byamukama, Samuel Kato and fresh professional on the block Ibrahim Semakula.

Fresh from India, Marvin Max Kibirige will square up against Adolf Muhumuza and Davis Kato, driving off the tee at 12:10 PM.

12:20 PM shall witness Silver Opio, George Felix Ian Odokonyero and Ronald Otile.

The last pool has James Koto, Flavia Namakula, Bulhan Matovu and Grace Kasango.

“It is a step at a time. Let us pray for good weather and the best golf,” Herman Mutebi anticipated after practice on the chipping and putting green.

Meanwhile, Thursday’s action also has Round Two for the Elite Gross Players.

Joseph Cwinya-ai scored 3-under-68 to lead the rest of the pack after the opening 18 holes’ action.

After Entebbe, the POA Golf series will be staged at the Lugazi Hills and Country Club before climaxing in Kampala.
