Bernard Muwanga has completed a move from SC Villa to bitter rivals KCCA Kawowo Sports confirms.

The former immediate captain of the Villa Park side has signed a three year deal with the Uganda Cup holders.

Muwanga who spent two seasons at Villa after joining from Bright Stars becomes KCCA’s fourth official signing after Sulaiman Mutyaba, Oscar Agaba and Congolese forward Trevor Kanyinda who is yet to be unveiled by the club despite being around for sometime.

Muwanga joins a host of players that are intent on leaving the 16-time league champions in the window.

Already, midfielders Abel Eturude and Martin Kizza are believed to be out while goalkeeper Ambrose Kirya is also on the list of the players who are likely to leave.

Defender Ibrahim Kiyemba left the side for rivals Vipers SC after a failed move to South Africa’s Stellenbosch despite having successful trials at the club.

Muwanga still has six months left on his SC Villa contract but sources close to both parties, an agreement was reached for him to go.
