Kirinya-Jinja S.S Vs Uganda Revenue Authority (URA)

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club takes their unbeaten run in as many as 12 games to the mighty Arena when they take on Kirinya-Jinja S.S on Saturday.

The tax collectors, just like the reigning league champions Vipers remain the only sides yet to taste defeat this season, having played 12 matches.

On the contrary, Kirinya-Jinja S.S has been condemned to three losses in 13 matches as they seat un the 10th place with 18 points compared to URA’s 24.

It will be a battle of tactics as between the respective technical benches as they plan for the game execution.

Sam Ssimbwa at the helm of URA is known for his spot on approach during the games with various formations meant to ripe dividends.

The same applies to Charles Ayiekoh Lukula who expertise is prior planning and awesome game reading during matches.

URA has of late picked victories away to Bright Stars and lately at home over Onduparaka.

On the other hand, Kirinya-Jinja S.S fell in the immediate past game, falling away 3-2 to Police at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.

The home team will bank on the scoring form of Faizal Muwawu (scored his first goal of the season against Police), Joel Madondo, Dan ‘Papa’ Sewava and Fred Amaku, four players that can bring down any defence in the league with pace and precision.

The quartet will face the ever improving make shift center back of former midfielder Hudu Mulikyi, Benjamin Nyakoojo and company.

URA’s Mathew Odong Tayo recently found his scoring touch and will combine with Joackim Ojeera, Charles Ssempa for the much needed inspiration against Isaac Isinde’s  led backline that also has Allan Drajua, Isma Kawawulo, Wilson Makuro, Douglas Muganga as well as goalkeeper Emmanuel Rubangkene.

Saidi Kyeyune and skipper Shafik Kagimu are two special players for the tax collectors who are still missing left winger Vitalis Tabu (was operated the appendixis) who will be tasked to maintain the shape for the club at all times.

Kyeyune and Kagimu face a mountain task against a breed of established midfielders at Kirinya-Jinja S.S in David Bagoole, fast improving Nelson Mandela as well as former academy graduates Vincent Zziwa and Jeromy Kirya.

A win for either side will be so important for the respective team at hand in the campaign.
