Wednesday, 1st May 2019:
- Lady Doves Vs Olila High School -Katushabe Ground, Masindi
The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) competitions department confirmed the dates for the 2019 Women Cup quarter finals.
According to Hajjati Aisha Nalule, the FUFA Competitions Director, the quarter final matches will be played starting this Wednesday, 24th April 2019.
On the aforementioned stated date, two games will be played.
Favourites Uganda Martyrs High School – Lubaga, conquerors of Divine Girls S.S 1-0 at the round of 16 will face She Corporates in Lubaga.

She Corporates had defeated Muteesa 1 Royal University 1-0 at the stage of 16 teams.
In the other game, Makerere University will face Kawempe Junior at the Makerere University play ground.

To advance to quarter finals, Makerere University ejected Asubo Gafford Ladies 3-0 and Kawempe Junior eliminated Mwandha Foundation at the round of 16.
The third quarter final will come on Saturday, 26th April 2019 when Soroti based Echoes High School entertains Tooro Queens at the Soroti Sports grounds.
The fourth and last quarter final shall be played at the start of May, as Lady Doves plays host to Olila High School at the Katushabe Play ground in Masindi.

For starters, no club has ever managed to successfully defend the FUFA Women’s cup.
Last year’s defending champions Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lady Cardinals were eliminated by Kawempe Muslim 3-1 at the round of 32.

Round of 8 (Quarter finals) Rules:
1 – Shall comprise of 8 teams qualified from the third round
2 – FUFA Shall draw lots to generate fixtures for the fourth round
3 – If the teams are still tying by goals at the end of the match, extra time of not more than 15 minutes each shall be played to determine the winner and the team with more goals after extra time will be the winner of the match.
4 – If the teams are not separated by Art 23 (3) above, spot kicks shall be applied to determine the winner
