Two-time Africa rally champion Manvir Baryan returns to the Pearl of Africa Rally with high chances of clinching a third ARC title with two events in hand.
Baryan and co-driver Drew Sturrock will be the only crew vying for the ARC points in the weekend’s race.
The crew has yet again been dominant in their third year competing in the African rally series.
The Skoda Fabia R5 driver is currently leading the ARC with 176 points; 88 points more than Zambia’s Leroy Gomes.

With maximum points from the weekend Pearl rally, Baryan will have secured his record third consecutive ARC title.
Baryan and Sturrock enter Pearl rally after putting up an outstanding performance during the Safari rally three weeks ago.
Being the pearl rally defending winners, they remain the favorites to claim victory and also in search for the pearl rally hattrick.
