Tornado aim for league summit against Rounders

MULTIPLE INDUSTRIES’ CRICKET LEAGUE
Tornado vs Rounders – Kyambogo

National T20 League Champions, Tornado cricket club are back in action after a three week recess when they take on relegation scrap side, Rounders in the National Men’s Multiple Industries’ Cricket League tie at Kyambogo oval on Sunday. Tornado skipper, Frank Nsubuga vaunts that finishing at the summit is the pinnacle of their season’s objectives.

While him and Benjamin Musoke were away in Dubai in March, his troops gunned down Charity in the T20 final at Lugogo. But with the numbers on a high, his side is good to go. Tornado will go top if they secure a bonus point in the fray. They will move to 23 points, on level with Wanderers but will poise a better net run rate.

Rounders, who are second from bottom on seven points look to take the day’s bigger piece, according to senior player, Amos Kyazze. The Jinja side has only one a game in five.
