Wanderers vs. Patidar – Kyambogo
When bottom side Rounders picked maximum points against Tornado in Jinja, Wanderers bundled Nile for two wickets at Lugogo to move top of the Multiple Industries Cricket League last Sunday.
The Dennis Musali-led side now will play defending champions Patidar Samaj at the University Oval in Kyambogo tomorrow.
Davis Karashani, the national team skipper and a senior player is heads up ahead of the clash. “We are ready as a team,” he said after his training session in the nets at Lugogo on Friday. “They (Patidar) have just had a few bad games and we still accord them respect” Karashani, who won last weekend’s man-of-match honour, added.
Patidar lie third and with Tornado not in action, they hope to bridge the gap atop with a win. Wanderers, meanwhile have amassed 47 points fron 10 outings and will hope tpo mantain the lead.
