George Nsimbe has been appointed as head Coach of KCC FC for the second time in history of the club. Nsimbe, a legend at the club as a player also had a coaching stint at the club between 2007 and 2010 and was at the helm as the Yellow lads won the 2008 league title and also reached the second round of the Orange CAF Champions League.
Speaking to Kawowo Sports, the soft spoken tactician who left the Lugogo based club in 2010 after refusing to work under Coach Sam Ssimbwa said. “Its true am back at KCC FC but there are still unsorted issues concerning the personal terms in the contract but am sure everything will be resolved”. Nsimbe lost his head Coach position at KCC FC when he left for a coaching course in Germany only to return when Ssimbwa was appointed. He then declined to work as an assistant to Ssimbwa and joined Victors FC which he led to winning the Uganda Cup in 2010.
He however quit the Jinja based side mid this season following administrative wrangles citing he was unable to work under such conditions. He was grabbed by Fire Masters FC in a bid to save them from the drop but a mixture of poor performances and the club’s failure to honour three league fixture has not helped matters. George Nsimbe is meant to start his role immediately this season ends and will work with interim Coach Morley Byekwaso as his first assistant while Oloya Moses as the goal keeping tactician.
