namboole stadium

It is now clear the venue for Uganda – Senegal tie has been sorted and is none other than Mandela National  Stadium. This finally brings the feud between the two parties to an end.

It should be noted that earlier this week, stadium management and FUFA had disagreed on the fees for the venue

forcing the federation to begin considering other available options with Nakivubo stadium coming into peoples’ mind.

The stadium management had asked for over Shs 80 million for the world cup qualifier to be played at the venue while Fufa was only willing to part with Shs 30 million for the service.

However, the two parties have agreed on Shs 45 million this evening according to impeccable sources.

According to FUFA, the charges for the game remain shs 25,000 for Kiruusia and shs 80,000 for pavillion. The ticket however will also serve for the Congo Brazzaville game.

In a related development, FUFA Head Of Communication Rogers Mulindwa has confirmed that the Senegal national team will arrive in the country tommorow ( Thursday) ahead of the much anticipated game.
