Express FC’s new soccer prodigy Bonny Baingana, has scooped the Bell Lager Football of the month award for the month of November.
The 19 year old soccer sensation has won the award for a second successive month after claiming the October award which was the inaugural one.
Baingana toppled KCC FC’s Tom Masiko (second) and Maroons FC’s Alex Tulilaaba in third. The Uganda Super League and Bell Lager, the official sponsors of the league are yet to set a date for the award ceremony.
This initiative by the Uganda Super League and Bell Lager, the official sponsors of the league will lead to the end of year awards.
The awards will, this year, run under the theme, “Let’s raise the esteem of our footballers.”
The award categories include Footballer of the year, Golden boot winner, Team of the season and Fair play award among others.
