League champions URA have closed the gap to just a point in the with a 2-0 win over Maroons in games that where played in the fourth week of the league on Friday at Luzira Prison ground.

Goals by Cranes international Robert Ssentongo and in-form striker Henry Kisekka, where just enough to give the tax collectors their second win in the season and keep their unbeaten record intact. URA has seven points from three games while Express has eight points from four games.

KCC continued to struggled in the league when they where held to a goalless draw against Victors at Wankulukuku stadium. The Yellow boys now have picked four points out of four games and lie in seventh position.

Bunamwaya moved up to fifth position with a slender 1-0 over home side Firemasters at Kavuma ground. The Entebbe road based side now has five points from three games. While Police FC was a shocking 2-0 winner over Army side Simba at Mandela stadium. The cops moved into third with seven points out of five outings.

Whipping boys Utoda FC registered their fourth defeat losing to Masaka LC, who are now fourth with seven points out of four games. The league takes a break and returns after the Uganda Cranes game with Harambee stars on October 8.
