Tag Rugby Trust president to grace Uganda Tour

Tag Rugby Trust President Martin Hansford and Trustee Rob Newman will lead the Uganda annual Tour which is set to kick off this Sunday in Mbale. It will involve coaching at the Tag Rugby Reach out centers and 16 primary schools will take part from Mbale district namely; Police, Maluku, Bumageni, Nabumali, Busamaga, Namatala, North Road, Fairway, St.Joseph Gangama, Wanambwa , Wambwa, Musoto and new entrants St.Micheal, Nakibiso, Mayor and Bujoloti schools.

According to Tag Rugby Trust coordinator, Dorothy Nekesa , the Mbale tour will have coaching sessions run from May 28-31 and a tournament on the  June 1. The group returns for the second week of tour in Kampala on Sunday June 3 to June 8 the England counties team will be working with Tag Rugby Trust in the Outreach Centers to give back to the Tag Rugby playing kids from the different lesser schools.
June 6 will be an England Counties Outreach Day for the Jinja Tag Rugby community at Nile Rugby club in Jinja; the players will coach kids from twelve schools and hold a tournament with prize giving later in the day.
The intention of the day is that all members of the EC tour party get an experience of coaching Tag Rugby in a Jinja primary school and play a part in selecting a team to represent each school. The England Counties team plays Uganda on the 5th June 4pm, Combined East Africa Elgon Warriors on the 9th of June in Kampala and the last
match against East Africa Elgon Warriors in Nairobi at 4pm.
