Ugandan international midfielder Musa Mudde’s future appears sorted after he featured for Tanzanian giants Simba SC in an international club friendly against Kenya’s Tusker FC on Saturday in Dar es Salam.

This brings earlier media reports that Mudde was set for a return to former club Sofapaka of Kenya after a frustrating season with Simba to a halt. The midfielder fell out with Simba after the side ignored him following an injury he sustained in the Cecafa Kagame Cup in July replacing him with Malian Komabil Keita to fill the foreign players’ quota that Vodacom premier League regulations allow.

After recovery, Sofapaka showed interest in resigning him but Simba Head of player recruitment Hans Poppe quashed reports indicating that Mudde was in their plans as the club is preparing for the second half of their season.

It is now evident that Mudde won’t be returning to the Kenya Premier League but feature for Tanzania champions Simba after returning to full fitness.

Tusker won the match 3-0 with Ugandans Aucho Khalid and Robert Omunuk making their second appearance for Tusker FC
