FUFA Super league Outfit, Aurum Roses Football club have signed former Uganda Cranes, SC Villa, Ggaba, Victors, Umeme and Simba player, Paul Mutakabala on a two year deal as the new club coach.
Mutakabala, who has been until recently coach at Big league side, Baza Holdings, takes over the slot left vacant after the league debutants sacked their former tactician, Tabuley Muhammed over poor results.
“I have a target to help Aurum Roses survive being relegated to the lower divisions. I will work together with the team players and officials to reach that goal”, Mutakabala spilled his work plan and the immediate ambitions to Kawowo sports.
Mutakabala, who also played for Wandegeya and Vietnam’s Binh Duong as a semi proffessional, takes over the coaching mantle from the interim coach Allan Kabonge, who will remain as his assistant. He faces an immediate uphill task of bringing sanity at an already disjointed Aurum Roses dressing room and recruiting a few more players to bolster the playing squad.
He brings to the debutant side, a wealth of coaching experience as he has been assistant coach at Uganda’s record league winners, SC Villa under their former Serbian coach, Srdjan Zivojnov. Mutakabala’s fore stern test will be a league tie against Express next Tuesday.
