Lillian Zawedde beat a strong field of over 140 players to claim preliminary leadership in the Beach Woodball Circuit held at Lido Beach, Entebbe last Weekend.

The 2012 USPA Woodballer of the year won the singles title by 47 strokes and the mixed doubles (with Eric Kanyike) by 20 strokes.

Ndejje University’s Emmanuel Lubega beat off a strong challenge from Julius Agaba and Fazil Kakande as he reigned the men’s category with a net score of 46 strokes.

Bank of Uganda’s duo of Godwin Ssenyondo and Lillian Agwang were the top performers in the corporate category as they returned scores of 61 and 85 respectively.
