After a false start to the second round, Express will be desperate to return to winning ways when they take on UPDF at Wankulukuku on Tuesday.

The Red Eagles come into the game on back of a stalemate at Bright Stars in which they lost a goal lead late and that was preceded by defeats at Mbarara City and KCCA at home.

There couldn’t be a better fixture than facing the army side at home as they are currently struggling for form.

Pius Ngabo’s men are fighting for their lives with only 10 points at this point and won none of their last five outings managing one draw (2-2 vs NEC) in the process.

Marvin Oshaba, Isaac Wagoina and Timothy Ssenfuma among others have a task to look for desired goals but the hosts will miss the services of winger Alpha Thiery Ssali who is with the Hippos in Ethiopia for the DIRE Cup.

Hot Stat: The last four meetings between the two sides have all ended in draws with UPDF winning the last time a victory was sighted in this fixture.

Besides, both teams have won four of the last thirteen league meetings [D5]
